Privacy policy and consent to the use of personal data on our websites

The operators of these pages take the protection of your personal data very seriously. We treat your personal data confidentially and in accordance with the statutory data protection regulations and this privacy policy.

It is generally possible to use our website without providing personal data. If personal data (e.g. name, address or e-mail addresses) is collected on our website, this is always done on a voluntary basis as far as possible. This data will not be passed on to third parties without your express consent.

We would like to point out that data transmission over the Internet (e.g. when communicating by e-mail) may be subject to security vulnerabilities. Complete protection of data against access by third parties is not possible.

Cookies

So-called ‘cookies’ are used on our website. These simplify and accelerate the control of your visit to our website. If you do not want our website to use cookies on your computer, you can deactivate cookies in your browser settings and select the browser settings so that you are informed when cookies are used on a website.

You can find more information about cookies and your browser settings here (for Mozilla Firefox), here (for Google Chrome) and here (for Microsoft Internet Explorer). If cookies are deactivated, the functionality of this website may be restricted.

Newsletter

To subscribe to our newsletter, all you need to do is enter an e-mail address.

After registering, you will receive an e-mail with a personalised link. The registration only becomes active when you click on this link (double opt-in procedure). This serves to ensure that the subscriber is the owner of the e-mail address. The registration is logged; we store the e-mail address used, IP address, date and time as proof of registration within the scope of the statutory documentation obligation as proof that we are sending you our newsletter lawfully.

By registering, you give us your consent to send you information on the newsletter category or categories you have selected by e-mail at irregular intervals. To provide the newsletter, we use a mailing software with which your data is processed. We use this data exclusively for sending the newsletter and do not pass it on to third parties.

You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time. To do so, simply click on the unsubscribe link in every newsletter or send us an email to newsletter@akdae.de.

The legal basis for the use of your e-mail address is your consent (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a) GDPR). Your data will be deleted if you unsubscribe from the newsletter.

We record whether newsletters are opened and which links are clicked on (newsletter tracking). However, we use this data without personal reference, e.g. we determine the opening rate or the total number of clicks on certain links. We use this information to customise the newsletter and the website (e.g. to cover topics with a high response rate more frequently). The legal basis for newsletter tracking is our legitimate interest in customising our content (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR). The log data (detailed statistics and user history) will be deleted after 12 months. You can object to newsletter tracking at any time; we will then remove you from the newsletter distribution list.

This site uses SSL encryption for security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content, such as the enquiries you send to us as the site operator. You can recognise an encrypted connection by the fact that the address line of the browser changes from ‘http://’ to ‘https://’ and by the lock symbol in your browser line.

If SSL encryption is activated, the data you transmit to us cannot be read by third parties.
